Founded in 1842 as the Royal Academy, TU Delft has a reputation for high-quality teaching and research. TU Delft is the home to over 19,000 students (both undergraduates and graduates), many of whom are international students from countries throughout Europe and around the world. There are also with around 3,300 scientists on campus. TU Delft is a world-ranked institution with a globally recognized program in Aerospace Engineering. The university's campus itself is has many resources for students, including a celebrated library and green, outdoor areas for students to socialize. Spring Semester or Academic Year study abroad programs are available for students to study Aerospace Engineering.

City Information -Located in southwestern Netherlands (region often referred to as Holland) in the province of South Holland
-The city is close to many other major European cities, and just miles away from the largest cities in the Netherlands. Amsterdam is around 40 miles away, Rotterdam is around 10 miles away, and Delft just 6 miles away from The Hague -Population ~100,000 -Official language is Dutch; however English is the language of instruction
-Delft has many historical sites around the city including Canals, Oude Kerk (Old Church), Oostpoort (Eastern Gate), City Hall, and other locations. Some of these building date back over 600 years!
-Delft is also famous for its blue and white Delft pottery and as the home of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer
