Semester in Liverpool, England

The Beatles
"Wedged between serene North Wales and the even-more-serene Lake District, Liverpool provides an opportunity to sample the "real" England. It's the best look at urban England outside London. Beatles fans flock to Liverpool to learn about the Fab Four's early days, but the city has much more to offer — most notably, a wealth of free and good museums, a pair of striking cathedrals, a dramatic skyline mingling old red-brick maritime buildings and glassy new skyscrapers, and — most of all — the charm of the Liverpudlians."
Rick Steves

Program description
Spend a semester or academic year at the University of Liverpool in North West England on ISU's Semester in Liverpool.  This is the non-exchange/direct enroll program in which tuition costs are based on the University of Liverpool's fee to incoming study abroad students.  Depending on the exchange rate, this could be a little less than ISU's out-of-state (non-resident) tuition.  Iowa resident students (those paying in-state tuition) might wish to consider the ISU Liverpool Exchange program were students pay ISU tuition.  For more information on this option click here.  However, exchange placement is limited and Semester in Liverpool may be the only available option since there is no limitation on the number of qualified students who can participate.
