Take your adventure abroad to Taoyuan City, Taiwan at NCU! This program offers a three credits with certificate option, lasting three weeks, or 5 credits with certificate option which lasts five weeks. Classes are arranged in small groups and taught by professionals in the language department from NCU. Cultural trips are also offered during this experience for fun and adventure! Watch this video to see last year's program, or go to their program website. To be considered and nominated for the program, first apply to ISU by clicking Apply Now above. Once your ISUAbroad application has the pre-decision items complete and submitted, your status will be changed to Accepted. Then only those students who are nominated and click Commit on their ISUAbroad application, should register at the NCU registration page found on their website.

Fees for this program have been waived by NCU for ISU students, which means students will only have to pay for airfare travel, personal expenses, CISI medical/travel insurance (about $50 for 5 weeks), ISU tuition and fees for the # of credits, Study Abroad administrative fee, and some food while abroad!

Internships are also available on an individual basis. Program fee waivers ALSO apply to the internship programs. Contact Nancy Guthrie for more information.

Students can contact Dr. Carl Chang at ISU for consultations on the program and the internship opportunities, and can view his personal website  and contact him at chang@iastate.edu.
