Students, who select the Semester + Semester option for this program, will receive a $1,000+ discount. ISA support services, housing, and insurance are not included during the interim period between sessions but may be added for an additional charge.
While at Korea University, students live in student dorms.
While at Korea University, students can enroll in up to 6 courses.
Per Korea University, three credits are typically equivalent to 3 U.S. semester credits. Credit transfer is ultimately determined by the ISU Office of Admissions.
According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
- All students must have a passport that is valid for at least six months after the end of their program in order to be accepted into the program. Students who do not yet have a passport MUST apply for one as soon as possible and may need to pay for expedited processing to ensure that they have a passport by the application deadline.
- Students must submit college transcripts showing they have completed at least two semesters with an overall cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at all higher education institutions attended (community college, college, or university) at the time of application to the program.
- Korea University strictly enforces this admission requirement, therefore, no exceptions can be made to the GPA requirement or to the two-semester rule under any circumstances. Please contact the ISA Seoul Program Manager with any questions.
Course Availability and Selection
The course list below indicates the proposed courses for the upcoming semester. While the list may be used as a general guide while completing your pre-registration form, course offerings and enrollment will not be confirmed until students are on site.
Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers and scheduling. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last-minute class cancellations.
