ISA Service Learning Malavli

Why ISA?

ISA Service-Learning offers opportunities for you to make an impact in a community abroad, enhance your cultural competency, and develop key skills that you’ll use for the rest of your life.

Choosing malavli

Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Western Ghats is Mumbai’s satellite city, Malavli. A popular destination for residents of Mumbai during the monsoon season, Malavli is surrounded by lush countryside and abundant waterfalls. It is well known for its proximity to the historic “Bhaja” and “Karla” caves, heritage sites with well-preserved remnants of 2,500-year-old Buddhist settlements, and also provides a rest stop for those en route to the picturesque Lohagad trek.

Learning by Reflection

Learning does not happen as the result of an experience itself, but through intentional reflection upon an experience. Therefore, a vital part of service-learning is critical reflection through a guided curriculum.Learn More »
