Spring 2018 – Take ENGR 394 (3 cr)

  • This course will be offered on Tuesdays, 6-9pm during the spring.
  • Complete this course with lectures and industry tours while in Italy
  • Note:  This course is going through the new course approval process, but ideally could count as a tech elective in your department.  It may also be able to count toward the sustainability minor (pending necessary approvals).  More information will be available soon

Summer 2018 - Take STAT 305 or STAT 231 Class in Torino
  • 3.5 weeks in Torino, Italy at Politecnico di Torino
  • Take STAT 305 or STAT 231 (taught by Mike Helwig – faculty member in IMSE at ISU) – this can potentially count as a tech elective for your degree (check with your academic advisor!) or towards a statistics requirement
  • Lectures and industry tours related to sustainability given by faculty from Politecnico di Torino

We will be hosted at the Politecnico Di Torino, home to Italy's second largest engineering program.  The university has direct partnerships with both Fiat and GM as well as other companies and industries.  They are currently conducting exciting research pertaining to many aspects of sustainability which will be explored in the program.  Students will be staying in student housing and very delicious meals are available in the student dining centers for very affordable rates.
