ScotlandWhy Glasgow?

Glasgow is one of National Geographic Traveler's top 20 'Best of the World' destinations for 2016. The city was also voted ‘friendliest city in the world’ in a Rough Guide poll and described as a must visit destination by the New York Times, The Guardian and Wanderlust.

Location

Where?

Despite being Scotland’s largest city, the centre of Glasgow is compact and easy to explore with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars, not to mention main transport links, all within easy reach of the GCU campus. The people of Glasgow are famed for their warm attitudes and friendly disposition – which helps to create a fantastic atmosphere for students and tourists alike. The application process
Iowa State students start the process by clicking the "Apply Now" but at the bottom of this page and completing the ISUAbroad application.  Once you have been nominated, you will need to complete the GCU application.

You should make an appointment with your academic advisor and share with the advisor the syllabi of courses (called modules in the UK) that interest you (see GCU's Module Catalogue) for ISU course equivalency determination.  Select more courses/modules than you will actually take in case of scheduling conflicts or course cancellation, etc.

GCU Please cannot guarantee on-campus accommodation, so the earlier you apply the better.  The exchange application form will be sent to the GCU Exchange & Study Abroad Office to be processed. When confirmation of your studies from the Academic Schoo is received, an acceptance letter will be posted to your home address.
