This course will examine leadership and strategy used by business in western Europe and then require students to compare and contrast that to a US business. At the conclusion of the course, you will be able to analyze business models and leadership strategies across a variety of industries and identify their strengths and weaknesses. You will be able to understand how different cultural constraints impact leadership and strategy choices. The course will meet on campus before and after travel. While in Europe, we will visit 8-10 companies, selected to give you a broad view of several different business models. Two major written assignments are required.
