A Semester in Italy: Accademia Italiana

(for Design and Fashion/Apparel Merchandising students)

Program Features

ItalyWhy Italy?

Accademia Italiana is an international school of art and culture welcoming students from all over the world and from every region in Italy. It is among the most highly qualified European institutes in the field of design, art, and professional training at the university level. It provides students with unparalleled professional opportunities to advance in the fields of art and design.

The Accademia Italiana collaborates with some of the most important art and design universities in the world and with important companies internationally. This international flavor favors cultural exchange and the development of new ideas that have always characterized the activities of the Institute. Today, thousands of ex-students hold important roles within companies, and they have achieved huge successes in the professional and artistic fields world-wide. Fashion students attending the Florence location in Spring Semester have the opportunity to participate in an annual fashion show. The show is a major fashion event in Florence and in Italy, is attended by current top designers, and is an unparralled experience for students.
