China Internship

The Ultimate Internship Experience

The Education Abroad Network's Internship in China Program gives students and recent college graduates entry into China's leading organizations and ensures that you will receive training compatible with your employment and/or educational history. Internships are generally unpaid and are 36-40 hours per week for full-time placements and 10-20 hours per week for part-time placements. These internships are an invaluable learning experience for students of all academic disciplines and are project-based, meaning you will work on a specific project for the duration of the internship. China's remarkable development has an impact on people all over the globe. There is no better way to get a glimpse inside real China than to work in a company or organization located there.

Internship Program Highlights

  • Internships are custom-created in order to provide the most valuable experience during your time abroad
  • A dedicated Internship Coordinator based in the U.S. works with interns throughout the entire internship placement process

  • Benefit from the on-site support of TEAN's local staff available 24/7

"I never would have been able to find an internship on my own and I loved the law firm I worked for. My co-workers became good friends and I felt I really experienced what it was like to live and work in China. I even got to experience home life as one of the lawyers of the firm paid me to tutor English to his children once a week. I am sad to be leaving, I will miss Shanghai and all my new friends. This has been an amazing experience."
