The University of Limerick (UL) was established in 1972 and is an internationally focused university with over 11,000 students and 1,300 staff. UL has a proud record of innovation in education and excellence in research and scholarship. UL's engineering department offers many areas of engineering including: aeronautical, biomedical, civil and construction, chemical, computer, electrical, mechanical engineering and courses for IE students.
