PLEASE NOTE THIS APPLICATION IS LIMITED TO GRADUATE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Exploration of the ecosystems, wildlife, and vegetation of South Africa, along with its rich human history.  The in-country experience will begin near Johannesburg and include the Pilansberg Nature Reserve.  After a scenic train ride south, we will explore botanical research facilities, terrestrial and aquatic wildlife, and agroecosystems in Cape Town and the surrounding region.

EEB 585, 2 credits total in Fall 2017; class will meet on campus during the Fall 2017 semester.

Program Cost:
$2900, which covers program coordination in country including lodging, transportation, entrance fees, several meals, CISI health and emergency insurance.  Not included: Air ticket, several meals, passport if you don't already have one, immunizations (varies), souvenirs and other personal incidentals.
