Special Course Fees:
These amounts are not included in the budget above. You may have special course fees for some courses. You will be responsible for paying these special course fees personally. These can range from $25 to $250, on average. Information on special course fees can be found in the ISU course catalog.
Visa costs includes $140 visa and $100 SEVIS fee. Not all students will have these fees.

ISU Application fee - $40
Transportation from Des Moines to Ames via Executive Express - $32
Temporary housing - $50 per night (varies depending on type of room & number of nights)
Early Move in Fee - between $25 and $50 per night (depends on dorm)
