Academic Information
The University of Canterbury, New Zealand's second oldest universities, is also consistently ranked in the top three universities in the country. The University of Canterbury has many academic disciplines, with opportunities for incoming students to take specialized courses related to New Zealand. Some of their areas of study within Engineering include: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software. Beyond many of the academic areas available similar to ISU, some other interesting areas of study available include: Forest Engineering, Antarctic Studies, Maori Studies, and Environmental Studies.

As a reminder, Semester 1 in New Zealand is at the same time is ISU's Spring Semester, and their Semester 2 is at the same time as ISU's Fall Semester. We also recommend only looking at classes at their Christchurch campus. 

This program is open to all Iowa State University students. 


Location
