IMPORTANT NOTE: The CIMBA program for ISU students requires both a CIMBA application and an ISU application. See your academic advisor if you have questions about applications.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VISAS AND TRAVEL BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE PROGRAM: The program is under 90 days, meaning the program is not long enough for a student to request a visa through CIMBA. During our program, if students take advantage of the travel breaks and all weekends, they have 25+ days of travel built into the semester. Then because the program is 83 days, students can also travel an additional 7 days after the program, totaling 41 free travel days in the Schengen area. If they wish to travel after the program, CIMBA recommends that students leave their travel destinations outside the Schengen area for after those 7 days, where they can travel without a Visa. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Danette Bontrager at the Study Abroad Center.
