Spend 3 weeks studying in the beautiful city of Paris. Earn 3 credits in the fine arts course: Fashion in France 18th-21st Century. You'll study at the prestigious Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS) and live in a Parisian homestay, or for a small supplement, you may select a student residence. Transcripts issued by CCFS.
You'll be immersed in French life with a wide range of social and cultural activities such as a visit to the Louvre, an excursion to the Château of Versailles, a visit to the Opéra Garnier and a boat trip along the Seine River. An optional day trip to the Champagne Region is also available.
With a comprehensive program fee guaranteed in U.S. dollars, AIFS makes it simple for you to live and study in Paris and experience all that the City of Light has to offer.
AIFS is recognized as a premier provider of study abroad programs. Program fees cover tuition and housing, with scholarship funding available. A meal plan, tours and excursions, insurance and 24-hour emergency service are also included. Coordinated AIFS Flight Packages with ground transportation are also available.
PLEASE BE AWARE that not all short-term programs through AIFS have been approved for transfer credit. Check with your academic advisor to determine whether the credits will transfer, and check with AIFS to make sure that the credits will be issued on a transcript from the overseas institution (not a "school of record"). If you are not earning academic credit, you will not be eligible for financial aid from ISU. If you opt for ISU independent study credit, you will be paying both the AIFS program costs as well as ISU tuition and fees for the number of credits you'll earn.
