Program Description:
Program Description
The Great Plains IDEA gerontology faculty is sponsoring a study tour to Europe during summer semester 2009. Students will attend the XIX Congress of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics to be held July 5-9 in Paris, France. Following the conclusion of the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to meet with a parallel program in Europe, the European Master's in Gerontology.

Program Fee
$3,495 (includes lodging, local ground transportation, lectures). Participants are responsible for their own airfare, conference registration and meals in addition to university tuition and fees.

Travel Itinerary
July 4: Travel to Paris
July 5-9: Attend XIX IAGG World Congress
July 10-15: Visit sites in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Saarbrücken, Germany
July 16-17: Return to Paris and US

Selection Criteria
Graduate students enrolled in the Great Plains IDEA program will have priority. As space permits, students from on-campus programs will be permitted to enroll.
