There are two visa processing methods:
* The visa cost is billable if the student participates in the group batch visa appointment. With this method, an ISU faculty or staff member travels to the Spanish Consulate in Chicago on behalf of the student to submit and return the student's passport with the Spanish visa. The ISU faculty or staff member will make two roundtrip visits to Chicago. The option may be limited by semester. Please check to make sure this option is available during your desired study abroad semester.
* The visa cost is non-billable if the student books their own visa appointment with the Spanish consulate in Chicago and travels on their own to submit and pick-up their passport. The Visa cost is $160 plus the cost of transportation for two round trips to Chicago.
