Billable subtotal costs will be processed through your ISU U-Bill.
Non-billable subtotal are estimated expenses that you will pay directly, out of pocket. These costs may vary depending on currency exchange rate and other factors.
Some examples of items in Anticipated Personal Expenses: SIM card and phone data plan, laundry, toiletries, gym membership, entertainment, taxi/Uber rides. Personal trips to other cities or countries during weekends or breaks are not included in Anticipated Personal Expenses. To give you an idea, students can choose to spend anywhere from $1,000-$3,000 or more on additional travel while abroad.
If a student withdraws after committing to a program, there could be withdraw fees from Arcadia. Iowa State's Study Abroad Center does not have withdraw fees.
