Iowa State Tuition: Tuition is charged at the same rate for both resident and non-resident interns.
Program Fee: Includes on-site transportation, University of Ghana administrative fees, one meal daily, program dietician and support staff, and housing
Iowa State Fees: $50 study abroad administrative fee is paid by all study abroad participants; $615.95 Iowa State fees comprised of: $122 tech fee, $365.95 activity fee, $120 health fee, and $8 health facility fee
Required international insurance and travel assist: $1.62/day x 30 days
This budget is an initial projection of the costs for the fall 2022 offering of Community Dietetics Internship Rotation in Rural Ghana (updated 8/31/22). Please keep in mind that these numbers are projections and may be subject to change. Furthermore, the amounts given represent base estimates only and may vary among individual students depending on spending habits. Nevertheless, the amounts should provide a reasonably accurate basis for initial financial planning.
