Students
studying abroad through other institutions or agencies or through
direct enrollment in a foreign institution are considered to be on non-ISU study abroad programs. All students on non-ISU programs are assessed an ISU study abroad administrative fee for semester and summer programs (see non-ISU section in Statement on Fees for more information).
To apply for a non-ISU program, complete the provider or host institution application as well as the "Non-ISU Application" (click on button below). ISU students need to complete the Non-ISU Application in order to stay active in the ISU system and to allow their financial aid to be to used for the study abroad experience. Be aware that ISU will not sanction study abroad in countries that are under a Department of State Travel Warning (see http://travel.state.gov for current information).
